Visit of OSSUR company - PROPRIO FOOT Introduction

ING corporation representatives and our principal prosthetic customers from Czech and Slovak republic accepted the invitation of Icelandic company OSSUR in the period of July the 6th to 11th 2006. At Ossur head office in Reykjavik we have been acquainted with the company run through the presentation of the subdivision managers followed by the excursion in OSSUR. The technical part was focused on prosthetic foot PROPRIO FOOT that is classified as the first prosthetic bionic foot in the world. We have been familiarized with its design and the features. The demonstration of the foot performance was the inseparable part. The seminar was led by Kjartan Gunnsteinsson, CPO, R&D department. Very interesting professional program and festivities have been arranged for our group by Ossur International Markets Team - Bjorg Birgisdottir, Frída Jónsdóttir and Jamie Gillespie.
